Sonia’s Weekly News – 28th September 2015
Welcome to this beautiful Monday morning. I hope that you all found the opportunity to relax this weekend with the weather. Some of the staff enjoyed a team building trip to the Hampshire Mountain Centre, which is where we take a group of pupils each year. It is our opportunity to experience the varied activities your young people enjoy when they attend; a great fun weekend was enjoyed by all.
Last week, as always, was another busy week, with pupils and teachers continuing to develop their learning. I am sure your young people have told you that work has started in the outside space and they are watching with great interest as the equipment is being installed. It won’t be long before they are able to use it.
You will be pleased to hear that we have successfully recruited our Assistant Site Manager and we are very much looking forward to welcoming him to the school in due course.
This week is full of events for both pupils and parents with the Friends of Osborne School AGM this evening at 6pm; all are welcome to attend. We also have the first coffee morning of the academic year on Wednesday at 9.30am. This is a great opportunity to have coffee, cake and chat with other parents, please do come along if you can.
This Friday pupils will be taking part in the Functional Learning Day and I am sure they will be very excited to tell you all about it on their return home on Friday after school.
Have a fun week everyone.
Sonia
