Guidance for parents & carers on e-Safety
ICT is a fantastic tool for learning and communicating with friends and peer groups. We have become very reliant on this technology and have to accept that it is a normal part of some young people’s lives. There are, however, risks associated with using this technology. This includes, online grooming, accessing inappropriate websites and cyberbullying.
In general the advice is that you should talk to your young person about the main risks. Please take some time to read the advice on our updated Internet Safety page. If you want further advice, please don’t hesitate to contact the school. We take cyber safety extremely seriously and the pupils well-being is our top priority!
These website have been approved by Hampshire County Council to help your young person with staying cyber smart.
