Sonia’s Weekly News – 26th October 2015

Well today brings us to the end of the first half term of the academic year! It has been extremely busy and I am sure you will agree with me that all the pupils and staff have worked extra hard and deserve a well earned rest. I hope that you can join me in thanking them for this hard work. Sonia

We have seen Rubiks cube practise tirelessly for their impending performance at the Royal Albert Hall,  the cast of the Shakespeare schools festival started rehearsals last week and you would think they had been doing it forever with the standard they demonstrated. The army have visited for the day and we have had a whole school functional learning day.

Assembly on Friday was magical as always with so many certificates to give out and pupils being proud and showcasing the work they have done through the half term, including two superb performances from Rubiks Cube in preparation for their performance at the Royal Albert Hall. All pupils looked wonderful today dressed in dotty clothes raising money for the RNIB, a great effort was made by all.

So all in all a very successful half term, that just leaves me to say have a great week.
Sonia
