The Spring term is truly in full swing at Osborne School! Pupils have come back from their half-term break ready for learning and new challenges, and it’s fantastic to see so many happy faces around school.

It was brilliant to see all the achievements of the pupils at our celebration assembly on the 11th of February. The assembly included a brilliant solo piano performance from 10HH’s Connor Bates (right). This massively talented young man performed unaided a beautiful piano piece. Connor not only plays piano, he also sings with Rubik’s Cube and plays Cello.

The Valentines Maths Day took place on the 1st of February. Pupils from across the school took part in a host of different activities based on the theme of Valentines Day, much fun and learning was had by all.

Our Year 7’s had a thrilling trip to Peter Symonds College for seated volleyball. Congratulations to Evie and Zachery who both won special awards. Read more HERE

IMG_2706The next couple of months are going to be a busy and exciting time for our Osborne performers. We were delighted to discover that out of thousands of schools our ‘A midsummer nights dream‘ performance has been selected to be shown again for 800+ people at the Bournemouth International Centre in April. Pupils will begin rehearsing again in the next couple of weeks. Read more HERE.

They have been confirmed for the Southampton Regional Festival for Music for Youth in March and will be playing their first major music festival in April. They will be playing alongside the likes of ‘Scouting for Girls’ and ‘Union J’ at the Portsmouth Summer Show. Read more HERE.
