Well today brings us to the beginning of the third week of the summer term! The pupils have returned from the Easter holidays with great enthusiasm and the feeling that they want to get on with their work, which has been great to see.
Hopefully now you will have all received your class newsletters telling you what’s going to happen this half term and you will receive another at the start of next half term. As from next academic year all information about what your young people are doing in school will be located on the website under your young person’s class in the ‘classes’ section. Watch this space for all the developments!
Last week was a very special week with the Osborne football team winning the overall cup of the football tournament. Hopefully you saw the brief clip on the BBC South Today programme on Thursday the 24th April. I am sure the new kit that we received from the company Ntegra really helped us to achieve the winning title. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Ntegra for sponsoring us.
You will be pleased to hear that the Post-16 developments are well underway with the building surveyors from the LA having been out to ensure we have covered everything, staff have been busy looking at colours and furniture and I have been ensuring we have the money to make it all happen!!
Stewart has been busy this week putting the final plans together for the residential trip to Wales for year 9, 10 and Post 16, it’s all looking great and I am sure they will all have an amazing time.
Have a good rest of the week everyone!
