IT firm sponsors Osborne School’s Football Teams
Ntegra, a local IT company, has linked up with Osborne School to sponsor their Key Stage 3 and 4 football teams – providing smart new kit and training tops for their matches.
Ntegra are an independent IT Consultancy and Managed Services company. The company has a growing Education Practice that provides specialist resources and advice to schools based on their individual needs. With involvement ranging from technical assistance and delivering a critical project on time, through to the design and build of a whole-school network, we can offer flexibility as well as expertise. Head of Practice, Jacquie Stevenson says, “ICT is evolving at such a rapid pace and can be quite daunting for schools when faced with so much choice. Our aim is to take the stress away by providing straightforward yet innovative solutions that enhance the teaching and learning experience and facilitate creativity across the curriculum”.
Sponsorship came about after Marc Bernard (Deputy Head Teacher) spoke with Paul Jameison, a parent of a Year 11 pupil, who works with Ntegra. Paul managed to get Marc in touch with Jacquie Stevenson and the ‘partnership’ grew from there. Jacquie visited the school and having been a SENCO in a previous job role, was inspired by the work we do here at Osborne School. Within a short space of time, Marc had visited Ntegra, had further meetings with Jacquie and her colleague Ethan Claridge, discussed kit requirements and then the kits were on order. The kits then arrived in school on Tuesday 19th April and were hand delivered by Jacquie Stevenson and the CEO of Ntegra Andy Jefferies.
Andy Jefferies said, “Playing an active role in our community is important to us at Ntegra, so supporting the children and their impressive talent in football was an easy decision for us to take. We will be taking a keen interest in their future matches and were thrilled to hear how well they played at the recent county finals, winning the tournament”.
The teams are so proud of their new kits. Their old kit had seen better days and with the county finals looming it was so brilliant that Ntegra could provide the kit in time for them to wear it. It is the first time the team have qualified for the finals and it certainly helped to boost their confidence on the day. We can’t thank them enough and we shall be keeping everyone at Ntegra updated with our progress on the football pitch in the months ahead.
We are hoping that our winning partnership with Ntegra will not just stop at football kits, but will develop further in the future!
Marc Bernard (Deputy Head Teacher)
