Osborne pupils watch Cinderella at The Theatre Royal, Winchester
On Wednesday 7 December Osborne school took 108 pupils to the panto to see Cinderella at the Theatre Royal Winchester. There were 13 pupils in wheelchairs and many with mobility impairments but nothing could stop our Christmas trip to the pantomime! The show was amazing, all the pupils loved it – Oh no they didn’t – OH YES THEY DID!
All joined in with gusto and a great time was had by all. Big thanks must go to all the hard working staff at Osborne, who transported or walked all the pupils to the theatre safely, looked after them brilliantly and ensured they all had a great time.
We must also say a big thank you to those transport operators who dropped pupils at the theatre and to Peter Shelley and his team (especially Chrissie Talbot) and all the staff at the Theatre Royal who helped us to make a Christmas wish a reality for our pupils. Cinderella – we did go to the ball! Merry Christmas!
