Rubik’s Cube @ Party in the Park, Winchester

Rubik’s Cube played the main stage at this years Party in the Park, Winchester. It was extremely wet but the band and parents endured the onslaught of rain to enjoy the atmosphere. Plagued by technical difficulties (we were the opening act of the festival and the rain was causing ‘issues’) the band just went for it. The pupils throughly enjoyed themselves as usual and The Mayor of Winchester said “You guys totally rocked”.

It was also Miss McPherson’s last show with us after being an integral part of the band, especially for introducing Makaton sign language into our performances. All the pupils and the staff will miss her as she travels the world on a Sabbatical year. She will be sending us photos of her travels so the pupils can see her progress, you’ll be able to see them on our website from September .
