Winchester Science Centre are piloting a quiet opening during the Easter Holiday for children with special educational needs and their families. Further information can be found below.
Quiet hour is especially for people with special educational needs and their families who would like to visit the Science Centre for a relaxed experience, where noise levels are kept to a minimum. Quiet hour is from 08:30-09:30. During this time families are welcome to explore the two floors of interactive exhibits. Staff will be available on the exhibition floor.
The main doors will open to the general public between 09.30-10:00. A live science show will be held at 09:30 for families attending Quiet Hour (no booking required), and relaxed planetarium shows are available throughout the day. If you are visiting Quiet Hour, your admission is valid throughout the day. We do hope you enjoy this new initiative. Please do provide any feedback to our team on the day.
