#Osborne wins again at the Shine School Media Awards!
The school magazine #Osborne has won 2 awards out of an Osborne record 4 nominations at this years Shine School Media Awards. The event held in London on Monday showcases the best talent by pupils from across the country. The competition includes entries from mainstream primary, secondary and college pupils.

Three pupils (Joe, Max and Amy) travelled to London on the train. Gemma (staff member) pictured below was cold on the train and had to borrow Amy’s jumper! We walked down the Southbank to St Paul’s cathedral, stopping for some photos along the way and a hot dog for a hungry Max!
We then arrived at Stationers Hall where we were greeted and enjoyed a free lunch. We received four nominations this year:
Best Magazine Front Cover, Best Cartoon, Best Community project and Most Outstanding Pupil (Thomas, 10BD)
We eventually came home with the highly commended awards for ‘Best Magazine Front Cover’ and ‘Best Cartoon’ (Max, Osborne College). An absolutely amazing achievement seeing as there was 100’s of applicants and this is a national competition. Well done everyone involved with #Osborne! We still strive for a best magazine nomination!
