‘British Values’ at Osborne School

British values reflected in the Osborne School’s Vision, Values and Ethos

We want our young people to become responsible, active citizens who participate in democracy and public life with respect for diversity and a commitment to working towards greater community cohesion.

Personal Developmental Learning (PDL) and Citizenship is at the heart of our school and emphasises the difference between right and wrong and respecting & tolerating differences in a very diverse and modern Britain. Within our Curriculum implementation, we have planned a curriculum that will enable our young people to make progress towards these aims. Through engaging lessons and using appropriate activities, we can give them all a better understanding of themselves and others in the community in which they live.
