Osborne Scouts Update

Barny proudly represented the Osborne Scout group this week when he delivered the beautifully painted pebbles to St Catherine’s View Care Home in Stanmore, Winchester.

The residents are not only gong to enjoy seeing them in the gardens there, but will also use them in practical activities such as hiding them for each other to find around the home and grounds. The pebbles will also give the residents opportunity to explore the feel, weight, shape, and size of them, and name the colours they can see. These activities will engage and promote thought processing skills that sadly are affected by dementia and memory loss.
