A Message from the Headteacher
Dear Parents and Carers
I hope you are all keeping safe and are continuing to enjoy good health.
This is a very short letter to wish you all a good half term and to thank you for your continued support and understanding during these unprecedented times.
We have had a successful half term and the pupils have continued to enjoy face to face learning and home learning as well as other activities. We will be celebrating these in our Celebration Assembly this afternoon.
As you know we are waiting for the Government to do their next announcement, which is due to take place on the 22nd of this month, about how the schools will return. It is likely that we will have a phased return to school, with hopefully all pupils back in school for the summer term, but as I said it is very much dependent on what the government tell us and at this point in time I have no information to share with you.
As always, we have to continue to keep school safe and the half term holidays will give us the opportunity to do yet another deep clean to ensure that we are maintaining the school hygiene protocols that are in place.
Please can I remind you about keeping school informed about your family’s health. If anyone tests positive for Covid within your family, especially the young people who attend school, please let us know so that we can carry out the relevant Track and Trace to contain the spread and support you in the best way we can. Please email me s.white@osborne.hants.sch.uk as the phones in school will not be manned during half term.
Thank you once again for all your continued support, kind messages and flexibility. I will be in touch again as soon as we have further information from the Government and the Local Authority.
Best wishes
Sonia White, Headteacher
