Osborne School Google Classroom – This Monday
We hope everyone has had a well-deserved half-term break!
From Monday all Osborne School teachers will be using the Google Classroom to share resources, set work and monitor remote learning. Google Classroom gives students access to materials no matter where they are and it’s an excellent communication tool between parents, carers, pupils and teachers. It will replace our current system of emailing work home to remote learners.
It’s important that ALL pupils and/or parents/carers sign in and start using from Monday. All parents/carers were emailed pupil login details at the end of last half-term. If you have lost your login details please email your teacher or b.dlugokecki@osborne.hants.sch.uk and we will easily be able to help you get started.
Google Classroom is quite straightforward and you might find you don’t need help navigating how to use it. If you are having problems, please see below a couple of help guides I have made for you all.
Also, on Monday at 6pm and Thursday at 6pm this week I will be holding a drop-in Zoom session for any parents/pupils who might want some extra support. Please email me for the code: b.dlugokecki@osborne.hants.sch.uk
And if you missed the first website post about what Google Classroom is you may want to watch this video.
So please login and check on Monday the 22nd of February or before to see what tasks are set. You can install the app on multiple devices, and you can have multiple accounts on devices if you have more than one pupil attending Osborne School. Any questions please feel free to email me. b.dlugokecki@osborne.hants.sch.uk
