What a fantastic day! It was so lovely to be able to hold our Osborne School Sports Day last week, having been cancelled last year. There was a lot of excitement before the event, with everyone looking forward to our school community coming together again.
On the day we were lucky to have the Army who opened the event with style!
We were also joined by London Irish Rugby Club and Saintsability who were supporting us and leading our morning carousel activities.
Our OsKings Sports Leaders organised and ran a cricket skills station and they certainly rose to that challenge with great maturity and confidence.
Accompanying the warm weather, we all enjoyed the tunes throughout the morning courtesy of Mr D and Lewis. We saw some spontaneous dancing breaking out across the field!
The afternoon involved races in year groups, with lots of cheering and encouragement from the side lines. And we finished the day with the customary Army and Teachers’ races.
Thank you to all staff for approaching the day with such positivity and enthusiasm. It was genuinely appreciated by everyone who took part, with our pupils really enjoying the whole experience.
