Remembrance 2021
Osborne remembers all those who lost their lives in conflict.
We did this in various ways and pupils did lots of activities to remind them of the importance of this very special day. On the 11.11.21 at 11am the whole school stood silent for 2minutes, you could hear a pin drop. Some of the work which pupils completed are displayed in the photographs below.
On the 14.11.21 Remembrance Sunday, as we do every year, we laid a poppy Wreath at the war memorial in Winchester just outside the Cathedral. I attended the service along with many other organisations and laid the wreath, I was also joined by Michael Kruger who laid a Wreath on behalf of Osborne Scouts. The whole ceremony was very moving and an absolute honour to do on behalf of the whole school.
