Show Racism the Red Card
This year Osborne students took part in the Show Racism the Red Card competition. In class we watched a video about racism in football and wider society, and we thought about what we could do to stop it. We designed posters, football shirts and made videos with an anti-racist message. Here is some of the wonderful work produced:






The judges then came up with a runner up (Shannon, 8LSi):


And a WINNER (Nancy, 9ENCE)….

Nancy’s entry was sent off to the Show Racism the Red Card national competition. We were delighted to hear that she had won a prize and had been invited to the awards ceremony at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium in London.

At the star studded event Nancy was awarded first prize! She received her prizes from ex-Chelsea footballer Paul Canoville. We are all so proud of Nancy and her fantastic achievement!
