Local DJs raise £400 for Friends of Osborne School

On the 16th of July 2022 there was a charity DJ party held at the Winchester Rugby Club. The event was organised by DJ’s DazzerDazman (Darrell Gowers) and DJ Pearcey (Ian Pearce). £400 was raised for friends of Osborne School, a fantastic amount! Thank you Darrell and Ian for your amazing effort. Below, Darrell sent us some information about what happened on the night.

Ian suggested we hold a charity DJ event to raise funds for his charity MIND and mine, Osborne School. My son William attended Osborne School a few years ago. I love playing Retro Vinyl and DJ Pearcey plays digital music, so we thought we could put on a great mix. It was a very hot day so not the best time for an indoor disco. However it turned out to be a great night with around 100 people attending and contributing towards quite a successful night. As well as raising £800 it also benefited the Rugby Club with their bar. We would like to thank Jim at the Rugby Club for letting us use the room free of charge. Thank you to all who came and all who contributed.
