#Osborne wins big at the Shine School Media Awards 2023

On the 3rd of July 2023 Nancy, Mum, Ben and I went to the train station to get the train from Winchester to London Waterloo. We went to The Shine School Media Awards and the Stationers Hall in London to get our awards and to see other schools from all over the country (and the world) collect our awards.

The nominations for awards are for the 10th issue of #Osborne that Nancy edited, with help from students at school. You can read the magazine below!

We had a cup of tea and some lunch. Nancy won ‘Highly commended‘ in the best editor category – the first time we’ve ever been nominated in this category! This is in the whole of UK. Well done, Nancy!

I won the Harrison Cup, first prize, and got quite overwhelmed. It was for my article ‘What it’s like to be me‘ which is below.

Soon I cheered up a little as we made our way to the taxi to take us back to Waterloo. We all had fries and hot-cold drinks from McDonalds! It was an overwhelming and excellent day.
