Donate a musical instrument to Osborne School
Osborne School in Winchester have started a campaign for anyone in our community to donate musical instruments to the school.
In the past few years we have seen a surge in young people at our school learning musical instruments. In previous years we have had many different musical instruments donated including acoustic guitars, electric guitars, bass guitars, amplifiers, cajons and keyboards. Pupils have been using the instruments to learn, this has led to some very exciting opportunities for the young people. These include opportunities such as music therapy, performances from Rubik’s Cube (our school rock choir) and OsJam (our OsKings’ lunchtime club),
If you or someone you know is looking for a new home for a musical instrument, please get in touch or drop off the instrument to Osborne School. If you leave a name and an email address we will get in touch with you to tell you what your instrument is being used for. We are only looking for the instruments below:
- Electro acoustic guitar
- Acoustic guitar
- Electric keyboard with or without adaptor
- Keyboard stands
- Bass Guitars
- Lead Guitars
- Cajon (box drum)
- Amplifiers
No drum kits, string or wind instruments please.
Please email to let us know if you’re willing to donate an instrument: ben.dlugokecki@osborne.hants.sch.uk
or simply drop it off to Osborne School or our OsKings’ provision with a note saying ‘Musical Instrument Donation’
Many thanks, Ben Dlugokecki
