Friends of Osborne School

FOS is a small committed group made up of parents, staff, Governors and volunteers, who all work hard to give our students the ‘Little Extra’s’.

Our primary aim is fundraising; however, the group also supports parents and carers by giving opportunities for parents to meet and share information and for mutual support. We also act as a consultative body for the school in supporting its development.

We meet once a month to discuss our next fundraising projects and we also attend the School Council meetings.

We are always looking for new volunteers who have fresh ideas and can bring new skills to our team. You don’t have to sit on a committee or have any previous experience, just a willingness to help out with whatever takes your fancy!

Our next meeting will be held on Wednesday 27 June from 1.00pm until 3.00pm.  It will take place in the Meeting Room at school.  Do please join us.  It is a chance to meet other parents and get involved in school events.  There is always a good cup of tea or coffee on offer and quite often cake and biscuits!!

n Thomas is in Year 8 and I jumped straight into life at FoS by becoming the new Chairman. I bring 4 years of PTA experience with me from a Primary School I helped with. I am keen to carry on the great work already achieved by Caroline and the team. I plan on being as hands on as possible and already loving life at Osborne. You Many Thanks
