OsKings’ pupils hold meterorites in their hands!

On Wednesday 15th May a group of Oskings students had an amazing opportunity to handle some genuine meteorites on loan from NASA. As well as the meteorite collection students were also able to see samples of rock and soil taken from the moon in the 1970’s Apollo missions. We spent time studying the rocks and their properties with magnets, magnifiers and microscopes. Not every day you get to hold a piece of the moon!
